- Hypopharyngeal Cancer

- Nasopharyngeal Cancer
- Oropharyngeal Cancer
- Paranasal Sinus and Nasal Cavity Cancer
Our team of specialists work closely with patients to create individualized
treatment plans that may include surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy
or a combination of these treatments. Our approach is typically one of “organ
preservation.”
As part of this strategy rehabilitation after treatment plays an important
role. The goals of rehabilitation depend on the extent of the disease and the
treatment already received. Our team makes every effort to help patients return
to normal activities as soon as possible.
Participation in clinical trials is an option for many patients with head
and neck cancers. These trials are designed to find more effective cancer treatments
and better ways to use current treatments.
Regular follow-up care is very important after treatment to ensure the cancer
has not returned, or that a second primary (new) cancer has not developed. Depending
on the type of cancer, medical checkups could include physical exams as well
as radiographic follow up.
