SJMHS brought patients the first CyberKnife® in the state of Michigan.
The CyberKnife® treats tumors deep within the brain or near the spinal cord
without invasive procedures or frames.
SJMHS also has 17 surgical suites, equipped with the latest computer image
driven technology. Our physicians, supported by specially trained nurse practitioners,
treat a variety of brain tumors, from simple biopsies to complex surgical procedures.
Neuro patients benefit from our long-standing partnership with the NCI as
a designated CCOP. This relationship connects SJMHS to the Mayo Clinic for leading
clinical trials and breakthrough treatments.
