Saint Joseph Mercy Health System's department of surgery includes the specialty
of urology. These board certified surgeons have been highly trained in the diagnosis,
medical and surgical treatment of diseases of the genitourinary system. All facets
of urologic care are provided, from complex endoscopic surgery to open surgery
for cancer. We also feature minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery,
which means smaller incisions, quicker recovery, and less post-operative pain.

Kidney
- Endoscopic, Percutaneous, and Shockwave procedures for
stone disease
- Laparoscopic surgery for kidney and ureteric
malignancies, including kidney-sparing partial resections

Bladder
- Bladder suspension for urinary incontinence as well as
surgery for vaginal vault prolapse
