Ernesto Figueroa, MD
Dr. Figueroa completed his Medical School at the Catholic University of Chile and his Psychiatry Residency at the University of Michigan. Subsequently, he completed fellowships in Personality Disorders and Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Michigan and the Forensic Center respectively. Since graduation he has maintained a  part-time private practice, and since 2005, he has practiced at the Partial Hospitalization Program at Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital. He has been the Medical Director of this program since July of 2011.

Sarah Becker Hortsch, MSW, RN
Sarah Hortsch is currently the charge nurse of the Adult and Adolescent Partial Program. She received her MSW from the University of Michigan in 1990 and worked as a psychotherapist before moving to Utah in 1994 where she obtained her RN degree.  Sarah returned to Michigan in 2003 and is currently finishing her PhD in Nursing at the University of Michigan. Her areas of interest are women's health and mental health.

Kelly Pahle, LMSW
Kelly Pahle has been a clinical social worker in the Adult Partial Hospitalization program since 2001.  During that time she has also provided coverage to the Adolescent Partial Hospitalization program and the Inpatient Psychiatric Units as needed.  In addition to her work at Huron Oaks, she has a small private practice, has taught Social Work classes at Eastern Michigan University and is a Field Instructor for University of Michigan Master's of Social Work students.  Her past work has included supervising a Child and Adolescent Outpatient Behavior Program and serving as Assistant Director of Behavior Services at a Community Mental Health Agency in Chicago.  She received her BA from the University of Michigan and her MSW from New York University.   Her areas of interest include working with trauma survivors and persons with personality disorders. 

Amy Bogetto-Weinraub, MM, MT-BC
Amy received her BMA in voice performance and psychology from the University of Michigan in 1993. From there, she attended Western Michigan University and received her Master’s of Music in music therapy in 1998. She started working as a music therapist for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in 1996 in behavioral health. Throughout her 16 years of service she has worked on the adult inpatient unit as well as the adult partial and adolescent partial programs. In addition to her work at St Joseph Mercy Hospital, Amy has worked with children and adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities as well as clients diagnosed on the autism spectrum. She has also worked with adolescents in substance abuse treatment.

Christine Swain, RN
Christine Swain has been a psychiatric nurse for the past 18 years.  She has worked at SJMH, Chelsea Community hospital, Oakwood hospitals and the University of Michigan.  She specializes in psychosocial education, case management, and assessment.

Kathleen Irvin, LMSW
Kathleen (Kat) has worked as a clinical social worker in the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program and Inpatient Psychiatric Unit since 2009.  A graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social Work she has worked as a clinical social worker at Heron Ridge Associates, Rainbow Rehabilitation Services, the University of Michigan Counseling and Psychological Services, and the Challenge Program, as a senior facilitator for experiential learning.  Three of her interests are the impact of chronic illness on an individual and his/her family, GLBT issues, and ethnicity and mental health treatment.

Margaret Witkowski Riley, LMSW
Margaret is currently the Intake Social Worker in the Adult Partial Hospitalization program.  She received her MSW from the University of Michigan in 1997.
She is a new member to the PHP treatment team, working to increase access to care and remove barriers to treatment.  She relocated to the Ann Arbor area from Cleveland, OH, where she worked for 13 years for a multi-service social work agency as a therapist, clinical supervisor and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention trainer. 

Jennifer Jenks, MD
Dr. Jenks is a psychiatrist who joined the Adolescent and Adult Partial Hospitalization Programs in 2013. She graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2001, then completed training at two Harvard Medical School programs: an adult psychiatry residency at Harvard Longwood, and a child and adolescent fellowship at Cambridge Hospital. She is Board-certified in both adult and child & adolescent psychiatry. Prior to joining the staff at St. Joseph Mercy, she had a private therapy and psychopharmacology practice in Boston.
