After working as an Assistant Professor at Wayne State University for several years, Dr. Moudgal joined the medical staff at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Ann Arbor as the Program Director for the Infectious Diseases postdoctoral fellowship training program. In addition to her role at IHA Infectious Diseases Consultants, Dr. Moudgal serves as the Section Head for the Infectious Diseases Division at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Ann Arbor. She also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the Department of Internal medicine at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. Dr. Moudgal is a fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and is a Certified Physician Executive (CPE).

Dr. Moudgal’s clinical and research interests include C. difficile colitis, HIV and HCV.

Dr. Malani is the Medical Director for the Infection Prevention and Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs at St. Joseph Mercy Health System, and is the program Co-Director for Infectious Diseases at Select Specialty Hospital. He also serves as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor for the Department of Internal Medicine Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Michigan, and as an instructor for the Fellowship Teaching program held at the Ann Arbor campus of the St. Joseph Mercy Health System. Dr. Otto has over 25 years of experience caring for patients. In addition to his role at IHA Infectious Diseases Consultants, Dr. Otto serves as the Medical Director of Home Health Services for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Ann Arbor and the program Co-Director for Infectious Diseases at Select Specialty Hospital. He also serves as Assistant Program Director for the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Teaching program held at St. Joseph Mercy Hospitals. 

Dr. Otto’s interests have included the spectrum of adult infectious diseases, antibiotic utilization and teaching. He believes in the importance of dignity and compassion in taking care of patients

Prior to joining IHA, Dr. Kothari spent over five years with a consultative clinical practice in Minneapolis, MN. He is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and his clinical interests include infections in hospitalized patients and the elderly, HIV, and infections acquired during travel.

Dr. Kothari enjoys working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to promote good health and recovery from illness.
