It takes a special blend of passion, experience and innovation to achieve surgical excellence. St. Joe's new Outpatient Surgery Center provides the latest technologies in a healing environment.
St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor's new 43,000-square-foot Outpatient Surgery Center features nine spacious operating rooms adjacent to the DeWeese Surgery Pavilion at St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor. This new facility creates a "surgery zone" on campus featuring a separate entrance and proximity to the main OR for maximum safety and efficiency. The new 625-square-foot ORs are ergonomically designed to accommodate today's surgical team, equipment and technology. Enhancements include brighter LED lights emitting less heat, and scope video integration equipment.
In summer 2014, a new cardiovascular hybrid OR will open, allowing our multidisciplinary teams to perform more complex procedures and to improve patient care.
The new Outpatient Surgery Center and future hybrid operating room enables St. Joe's medical teams to perform surgeries with advancing technology and minimally invasive techniques so that patients can go home happier and healthier.
