Our Residents

Recent graduates of the Transitional program have entered residencies in Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Radiology and Radiation Oncology.  Many have chosen to return to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital as attending physicians.

Residents of the Transitional Year Residency Program are as follows:

	Niharika Ahuja, MD - House Officer - HO1 Email: ahujanih@trinity-health.org Neha attended Wayne State University and she will be going into Anesthesiology at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.		Mohamad Bazerbashi, MD - House Officer - HO1 Email: bazerbam@trinity-health.org Mohamad came to St. Joe’s from the University of Toledo in Ohio and will be going back to the University of Toledo for a Radiology residency.
	Alecia Daunter, MD - House Officer - HO1 Email:  daunteaa@trinity-health.org Alecia attended the University of Michigan and will be starting a Physical Medicine & Rehab residency back at the University of Michigan.		Katherine Kuebler, MD - House Officer - HO1 Email: kueblerk@trinity-health.org Katherine attended Wayne State University and will be attending Northwestern McGaw in Illinois for an Anesthesiology residency.
	Jennifer McDonald, MD - House Officer - HO1 Email: mcdonje@trinity-health.org Jennifer came to St. Joe’s from the University of Michigan and is planning to enter a Preventive Medicine residency at the University of Michigan.		Shivani Nanda, MD - House Officer - HO1 Email: nandash@trinity-health.org Shivana came to Ann Arbor from Northwestern University in Illinois and will be advancing to a Dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
	Patrick Oellers, MD - House Officer - HO1 Email:   oellersp@trinity-health.org Patrick attended the Westfalische Wilhems-University in Germany and will state in the United States for an Ophthalmology residency at Duke University.		Veronica Russo, MD - House Officer - HO1 Email:  russov@trinity-health.org Veronica attended medical school at Michigan State University in East Lansing and plans to do a Dermatology  residency at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
	Puja Venkat, MD - House Officer - HO1 Email: venkatps@trinity-health.org Puja came to Ann Arbor from the University of Toledo Medical School and will start her Radiation Oncology residency at the University of Florida, Tampa.		Daniel Wahl, MD - House Officer - HO1 Email:   wahldanr@trinity-health.org Daniel did his medical school training at the University of Michigan and will stay in town to start a Radiation Oncology residency at the University of Michigan.
	Andrew Wilson, MD - House Officer - HO1 Email:  wilsand@trinity-health.org Andrew moved to Ann Arbor from Baylor College of Medicine and will move to California for a Neurology residency at UCLA Medical Center.		Albert Wu, MD - House Officer - HO1 Email:  wualbert@trinity-health.org Albert was nominated by his peers to be the Transitional Year chief this year and will assist with our upcoming recruitment season.  He attended medical school at the University of Michigan and plans to do an Anesthesiology residency at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
